Yajna displays introspection, innovative ideas and a strong desire for investigating scientific novelties. She focuses on healthy living, healthy food and food ecology. She has obtained several degrees: BSc, Hons and Masters Medical Science. Yajna specialised in infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, bioinformatics, and nanotherapeutics. She is a former Researcher and Academic Tutor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
